Black rice porridge has always been my favorite, but it doesn’t seem to make the porridge feel like in a restaurant. This time it’s improved. The lotus root is beaten into juice and simmered with black rice blood glutinous rice. The lotus root will thicken the porridge. It also has a strong fragrance of lotus root, which is very sweet. If you are afraid of trouble, putting a bag of lotus root powder is also a good choice

Lotus Root Black Rice Porridge

1. The next day, wash and soak the black rice and blood glutinous rice, pour the rice and water into the saucepan

2. Peel the lotus root and add a glass of water to juice with a food processor

3. Pour the lotus root juice into the saucepan, then add an appropriate amount of water, not more than 80% of the saucepan

4. Start the "casserole porridge" mode, select the default time of 2 hours and 10 minutes, and start working

5. When there is 30 minutes left, add rock sugar according to taste and stir

6. After cooking, simmer for a while before eating

Tips:

After washing the black rice, soak it in water and cover it with plastic wrap. You can directly use the soaked water together with the rice. The cooked porridge will continue to thicken. The amount of water can be increased or decreased according to the consistency of the porridge you like.
