Now everyone knows to eat more whole grains, proper eating can balance the nutrient intake. But if you eat a large amount of whole grains suddenly, your stomach can't adapt quickly, which can easily cause bloating or excessive gas production.

Therefore, one must proceed step by step.
Just don't do it overnight. When you first start eating, you must start from as little to as much, about 1/10 of the staple food. After persisting for 7-10 days, start to gradually increase the amount, so that you can give your digestive system a time to adapt.
2. Eat soft rice.
When cooking, try to make it soft and rotten, because soft rice can reduce the irritation of the intestines. At the beginning, it can be matched with some soft foods, such as purple sweet potato, taro and so on.
3. Variety collocation.
Don't simply eat a food rich in dietary fiber. Instead, eat a variety of coarse grains, such as red beans, oats, millet, and purple rice.
Infants and the elderly have weak gastrointestinal function, and eating too much coarse grains can cause abdominal distension. Therefore, it is not recommended to eat coarse grains for infants and young children. The intake of coarse grains for the elderly should be about half as low as adults.
In addition, drink plenty of water when eating whole grains, so as to provide enough water for dietary fiber to play its role.
