Pumpkin season, all kinds of pumpkins are sold. I bought a golden melon and prepared to make mini pumpkin rice. The soft glutinous rice and the sweet pumpkin absorb each other's taste, which is better than steamed glutinous rice alone.

Mini Pumpkin Rice

1. Prepare the ingredients, soak the glutinous rice in water half a day in advance

2. Boil the soaked glutinous rice in boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes. The pumpkin I bought today is a bit big. I'm afraid that the rice will not be steamed thoroughly. If the pumpkin is very small, you don't need to cook it, just soak it.

3. Fish out the cooked rice

4. Add black currant, corn kernels, honey red beans

5. Then add red dates, candied dates and sugar and mix well

6. Cut off the upper part of the pumpkin and dig out the seeds

7. Put the mixed rice

8. Put it in a basket and steam on medium heat for 40 minutes. Put the cut lid in too but don’t put it on, put it aside and steam it

9. Steamed glutinous rice

10. The steamed pumpkin lid can still be perfectly covered, let’s serve it

Tips:

When steaming, put the lid of the pumpkin aside to steam, because it will affect the maturity of the rice.
