Mint Mung Bean Porridge

Prepare the japonica rice and mung beans.

Wash the mung beans and put them in a casserole; add a suitable amount of cold water, boil on high heat, reduce the heat, and cook for 20 minutes.

Pour in the washed japonica rice, bring to a boil on high heat, and simmer for 15 minutes on low heat.

Prepare mint leaves; wash.

Chop mint leaves and set aside.

The rice grains are boiled to bloom, and mint leaves are added. Add rock sugar, boil and remove from heat.

Add rock sugar, boil and remove from heat; put in a bowl and serve warm.
