The WeChat public account "Baby Nutritional Supplements" contains 500 nutritional supplements I have made for my baby. With these 500 supplementary food recipes, I no longer have to worry about what my baby will eat. Xiaosi's mother will share baby food supplements for 6-24 months in this public account.
Rice cereal is not a baby’s patent. Nutrient-rich rice cereal, especially multi-grain rice cereal, can be used as a drink for a baby’s breakfast and a dessert (also suitable for adults) to provide children with sufficient carbohydrates and rich Trace elements.

But if it's just the rice paste boiled out of rice, it doesn't have such rich nutritional value. It has to be boiled together with all kinds of grains. For example, pumpkin contains a lot of carotene, which can be converted into vitamin A that babies need. Oats are rich in soluble dietary fiber. Of course, millet, which is rich in B vitamins, lutein and carotene, is also indispensable.

The seasoning part is pumpkin. Let the faint fragrance of mixed grains and rice also have a hint of sweetness of pumpkin.

Ingredients

1. Prepare ingredients: 70 grams of pumpkin, 10 grams of porridge, 5 grams of millet, 5 grams of oatmeal, 10 grams of brown rice, 300 grams of raw water, and 50 grams of warm water.

PS: 7-10 months old babies can choose millet, pumpkin, porridge rice.
10-12 months old babies can add instant oatmeal.
Babies over 12 months old can try adding brown rice, but it needs to be soaked and boiled more in advance.

2. Soak the brown rice in advance for about 3 hours.

PS: Brown rice is not easy to cook, so it is best to soak it for about 3 hours in advance. If the room temperature is relatively high, small bubbles are likely to appear when the rice is soaked, so it is best to soak in the refrigerator.

PS: How to judge whether the pumpkin is steamed? You can prick the pumpkin with chopsticks. If you can easily penetrate it, it means that the pumpkin has been steamed and can be cooked.

5. Next, we will use 10 grams of porridge rice, 5 grams of millet, and 5 grams of oatmeal to cook the porridge.

PS: Because there are many types of food for making porridge today, I only added a little bit of each, and the rice porridge I made was about as many as a bowl.

6. After washing the millet, oats, and porridge rice, pour them into the pot.

PS: You can cook the porridge in the usual pot, such as electric stew pot, casserole, BB pot, etc. I usually use electric rice cooker for cooking porridge, because I can't see the video, so I will use a small soup pot Let's make porridge.

9. If brown rice is added, it needs to be boiled for a longer period of time (30-40 minutes), and more water should be added as appropriate until the brown rice is boiled.

10. Put the boiled rice porridge and the steamed pumpkin in a blender, then add half a bowl of warm water, and use the blender to stir into a rice paste.

PS: Note that warm water can be added in portions, adjust the consistency of the rice paste at any time, and add as much warm water as possible. Therefore, it is too thick and difficult for the baby to swallow when eating.

11. The boiled rice cereal can be used as a supplement for small babies (such as 6-9 months old) alone, and older babies can use it as a supplement or as a drink for breakfast. If you have a soymilk machine at home, it is more convenient. Throw in all the ingredients and it will be made into a nutritious rice paste for the whole family in more than 20 minutes.
