Nutritional Colored Rice Balls

Prepare all the ingredients.

Squeeze the juice from spinach, carrots, purple cabbage, and pumpkin. Divide the purple cabbage juice into three parts. Add white vinegar to one part and alkali noodles to one part.

Mix the rice and glutinous rice evenly into 7 portions, save one portion and add the remaining six portions to the vegetable juice.

It is steamed in the upper pot. If it is dry in the middle, you can sprinkle some water. It is better to steam it in a bowl, because my pot can't hold so many bowls.

After being steamed, let it cool slightly, fill the rice into the mold, and then put some walnuts, jujube, and almond chopped wood on it, then cover with some rice and press it tightly.

Or mix several kinds of rice, add walnuts, red dates, and almonds to form rice balls.

Tips:
It’s best to soak the rice for color, and it must be steamed separately. I spread it all out and steamed it is a bit dry. It is best to bring a bowl to keep the water softer and make it a better ball. The filling can be added with red bean paste as you like.
