Oatmeal and Red Date Buns

Soak the oatmeal in boiling water to let cool.

Add flour, yeast powder and dough to ferment.

While fermenting the dough, wash the red dates and soak them in cold water for later use.

After the red dates are swollen, use kitchen scissors to remove the core and cut them into small pieces, and put them into the dough.

Knead well.

Knead the oats and red dates dough into a steamed bun shape.

After proofing for 30 minutes, put it in a steamer and steam for 25 minutes. The raw embryos of the steamed buns are a little squeezed, and a layer of oil is used to prevent sticky skin.
