In a limited amount, I changed my style to meet the needs of food. Today I tried to make an oatmeal omelet, replacing the flour in the traditional omelet with oats, which is more low-fat and healthy^_^

Ingredients

Oatmeal Omelet (reduced Fat Version)

1. Prepare materials. Because it is a reduced-fat meal, you can only choose between flour and oatmeal. Of course, if you don’t need to reduce fat, you can put some flour on your own.
1. Dry oats 25G. It's ordinary instant oats, I use Quaker.
2. 1 egg.
3. Carrots.
4. Green onions.
5. Seasoning: black pepper, parsley, salt, oil.

2. Soak oats. Soak the oats in hot water. The amount of water is just a little less than the oats. Stir it to make the oats paste. Then put it aside to let cool. Then you can chop the carrots and green onions at the same time.

3. Mixed material. Put the eggs, carrots, green onions, and oats in a large bowl one by one, and then mix. Stir all the ingredients clockwise with chopsticks.

4. Seasoning. Add parsley, black pepper, and salt in turn, and stir well.

5. Pancakes. Heat a non-stick pan, add 2 teaspoons of oil, and turn the heat to medium. Then use a tablespoon to pour the mixed oat and egg liquid into the pot little by little to form small circles.
Here I want to talk about it, why not pour all the oatmeal liquid into the pot at once to make a flatbread? The reason is that I have tried it. If it is made into a flatbread, it cannot be turned over, because the viscosity of oatmeal is far less than that of flour, so if it is too large, it cannot be turned over. So just make it into a cake.
When it is cooked on one side, turn it over until both sides are golden. It's done!

Tips:

1. When frying, it is fine to medium heat, not easy to burn.
2. Be sure to make small biscuits. If the biscuits are turned over, they will break.
