Pick out the magazines and leaf stems from the sweet-scented osmanthus, leave only the sweet-scented osmanthus, put it in a sieve and rinse with running water, don’t knead it, just flip it with your hands to wash away the dust

Put the cleaned osmanthus in a container, and put a tablespoon of maltose. The purpose of adding maltose is to increase the viscosity of the finished product. If you don’t have it, you don’t need to add it.

Spread white granulated sugar, no need to weigh, the amount of sugar is about the same as the amount of sweet-scented osmanthus.

Put a little salt on the sweet-scented osmanthus, if you only put sugar, the taste is very thin, you need a little salt to improve the taste

After the water is boiled, steam in the pot for about 20 minutes

See that the white sugar on the surface is completely melted, and then stir it with chopsticks a little bit. If there is still sugar that has not melted, then cover the pot and steam it for a while; after cooling, put it in a bottle that has been sterilized with boiling water for storage and can be used. No problem for 3-4 months
