Osmanthus is originally fragrant in August, but the osmanthus in Guangdong has been fragrant as early as the Chinese New Year. In other words, Guangdong people are more blessed and can smell the fragrant osmanthus twice a year.
During the New Year, I picked some sweet-scented osmanthus in my hometown. I didn't dare to pick the sweet-scented osmanthus outside for fear of spraying medicine. You can pick what you grow yourself.
