Panda Purple Sweet Potato Bun
1.
Wash and peel the purple potatoes, slice them and steam them (the purple potatoes are too dry, sprinkle in a little water and steam together)
2.
Add butter and white sugar to the steamed purple sweet potato while it is hot, stir into mashed potato, let cool and set aside.
3.
Take 10 grams of chocolate powder (or brown sugar), melt in warm water, add a little yeast powder, and stir
4.
Pour in a little flour and knead it into chocolate dough (for panda facial features).
5.
Add yeast powder to the flour, knead the dough with warm water, and then knead it into a dough. Ferment the white dough and chocolate dough in a warm place to double its size.
6.
Take out the white dough, knead it slightly, divide it into small balls, roll out the dough, and wrap the purple sweet potato filling in it.
7.
Wrap it like a bun, with the seal facing down.
8.
Then take out the chocolate dough and knead it into panda eyes, ears, and mouth. Dip some water on the dough and stick it to the buns.
9.
Steam in a pot over water. After the water is boiled, steam for 10 minutes to turn off the heat. Wait two minutes before boiling.
10.
Because of the addition of butter, the purple sweet potato filling is more fragrant and smooth. Looking at such a cute little panda, I can’t bear to open the bun and eat it.
Tips:
The filling of the buns can be changed according to preference.
