Pearl Balls---delicious Steamed in A Rice Cooker
1.
Soak a handful of glutinous rice in water for about 2 hours
2.
The meat slips are bought in the supermarket, which saves trouble (the ones you chop yourself should taste better). 1 egg, minced ginger and green onion
3.
Pour the meat, ginger, spring onion, and eggs into a large bowl, add appropriate amount of salt, cooking wine, chicken essence, and a small spoon of starch (the old family only needs egg white instead of egg yolk, but I also added it, hee hee)
4.
Use chopsticks in a circular motion in one direction
5.
Continue to stir to make the various seasonings and the meat as evenly as possible
6.
Use a piece of gauze to moisten water (sold in supermarkets) and spread it on the steaming grid of the rice cooker
7.
Knead the stirred meat dumplings with your hands into small meat balls of the same size, and roll them in the drained glutinous rice so that the whole body is covered with glutinous rice
8.
Add water to the rice cooker and boil until it boils, then put the steaming grid with the balls in it
9.
Cover and cook for about 20 minutes
10.
Ha, the steamed meatballs, although the sizes are not the same, but they are still like pearl balls, hehe
