Potato salad is still a dish I learned when I was in school. At that time, I bought potatoes, apples, and ham sausage when I went home during the holidays. The salad dressing was also made by myself: use an egg yolk, heat the oil, add drop by drop to the egg yolk while it is hot, stir with chopsticks, and slowly insert the chopsticks into it. The salad dressing made of boiled oil and egg yolk is complete. It takes about an hour to make a salad dressing, but it is also a good time to eat. Now supermarkets sell ready-made salad dressings with various flavors, sweet and savoury. This time I used sweet and savory salad dressing, mixed with potatoes, ham, apples, and grapefruit, which tasted great.

Potato Ham and Apple Salad

1. One potato, peeled and washed

2. Cut into slices about one centimeter thick, put them in a pot and steam them

3. While steaming the potatoes, cut the ham sausage into small cubes

4. Wash the purple cabbage

5. Cut into filaments

6. Apple wash

7. Peel and cut into small dices

8. The potatoes are steamed

9. Salad dressing is sweet

10. Potatoes are also cut into small cubes, and diced sausages, diced apples, and red cabbage are placed on a plate, plus two spoons of salad dressing

11. Stir well

12. I remembered that there was a red pomelo that hadn’t been eaten yet, so I cut it into cubes and put it on top for seasoning

Tips:

If it is the original salad dressing or the salad dressing made by yourself with egg yolks and hot cooking oil, you can add less salt, sugar and a little milk to mix well and it will taste delicious.
