This biscuit is an evening meal for daughters and husbands. My family eats dinner early. My children will be hungry when they study late. It just happened that some purple sweet potatoes were not finished. So I went to the kitchen and made this purple sweet potato biscuit. It was made by the recipe of Teacher Hua Sang Zhuoma. I like the color of purple sweet potato. Without butter, lard and vegetable oil were used instead.

Purple Sweet Potato Biscuits

1. Purple sweet potato peeled and cut into pieces and steamed

2. Mix lard, corn oil and sugar, and beat evenly

3. Add egg yolk and beat until smooth

4. Sift the purple sweet potato into a puree, mix with the whipped mixture and beat evenly

5. Sift in low-gluten flour

6. And into dough

7. Roll the dough to a thickness of about 0.3cm, cover with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes

8. After taking out the dough, trim the edges neatly and cut into strips of equal size. Cut a knife in the middle, but do not cut it. Use a fork to evenly fork the holes.

9. Preheat the oven, the temperature is 175 degrees, and the time is 10 minutes.
