Quinoa is rich in nutrients and can be paired with various ingredients. Today I used quinoa with fruit, yogurt and homemade colostrum milk tofu to make a simple, easy-to-make and nutritious quinoa salad. This salad is suitable for all ages. The taste, taste, and nutrition are all great. A bowl of this kind of salad in the morning will make you feel energetic all morning.
Quinoa (pronounced lí) wheat, native to the Andes of South America, is the main traditional food of the indigenous people of the Inca. It has a history of edible and planted for more than 5,000-7,000 years, due to its unique rich and comprehensive nutritional value. It nurtured the Inca nation, and the ancient Incas called it "the mother of food." The color of quinoa seeds is mainly white, black, red, etc., and the nutrient content is not much different. Among them, the white taste is the best, the black and red taste are relatively poor, and the grains are also smaller. Quinoa was used by NASA as space food for astronauts in the 1980s. The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations believes that quinoa is the only single plant that can basically meet the basic nutritional needs of the human body, and officially recommends quinoa as the most perfect and complete nutritious food suitable for humans. The United Nations declared 2013 as the International Year of Quinoa to promote human nutrition, health and food safety, and to achieve the Millennium Development Goals. One of the nutritional characteristics of quinoa is the extremely high proportion of germ and its nutritional activity, which is not available in many grains. Nutritional activity means that the germ, endosperm, and seed coat tissue structure of the seed is intact and fresh, and has the ability to germinate. The enzymes in the seed have always been active, and various nutrients are in the freshest state. "

Tips:

The yogurt and milk tofu used are all sugar-free. I added maple syrup to my grandson's meal. What I ate was the original flavor, and it was delicious without syrup. You can also use sugar or honey instead of maple syrup. But be aware that babies under 3 years of age cannot eat honey.
