Qushi Detox Siwu Soup

Prepare the raw materials.

Wash the lotus leaves.

The yam is cleaned, peeled and cut into small pieces. (If your hands are itchy when the yam is peeled, stretch your hands over the fire and bake them. The heat will decompose the saponins that cause itchy hands)

After soaking chixiaodou and barley for a while, pour them into the pot with lotus leaves, yam, and water. (I use a pressure cooker, so it doesn’t need to be soaked for a long time. If you use an ordinary pot, it’s recommended to soak for about ten hours)

Adjust to the eight-treasure porridge and cook.

Do not remove the lotus leaves, pour all the ingredients into the cooking machine barrel and make a juice.

Tips:
Chixiaodou must be cooked, otherwise it is slightly poisonous. The general population who eats it often will replace Chixiaodou with red beans to make it, because Chixiaodou should not be eaten often.
The juice is made for a better taste.
