Red Date Toast

First, the red dates were pitted and soaked in milk and yogurt to soften them for later use. I soaked them overnight.

The walnuts are bitten in the microwave and chopped for later use.

After adding salt and butter, put all the raw materials into the bread machine for kneading at one time. When the dough is smooth, add salt and butter to continue kneading.

Dongling bread machine knead the dough for about 28 minutes, the dough reaches the expanded state, just knead out the hand mask.

The dough is smoothly kneaded into a ball, sealed and started at a temperature of about 30 degrees.

The dough has doubled in size. Dip your fingers with flour and poke a hole in the middle of the dough without shrinking it.

After the dough is vented and rounded, the dough is rolled into 3 balls on average. Take out one and roll it into an oval shape. Sprinkle the walnuts on two-thirds of the dough, and then start folding the quilt to wrap it up.

Repeat the method of folding the quilt and wrap the dough again. Wrap three doughs and cover with a wet towel to relax for about 15 minutes.

Finally, take out the dough and roll it into an oval shape, then roll it into a roll and put it into a toast mold evenly.

Put the toast mold into the oven with hot water underneath and seal it for about 50 minutes.

The dough is fermented until the mold is nine minutes full, and the second round is completed. Take it out and brush the egg wash.

After the oven is preheated at 200 degrees, set it to 180 degrees and place the lower layer to bake for about 30 minutes. After the surface is colored for about 10 minutes in the middle, immediately cover with tin foil and continue baking.
