Red Dates, American Ginseng and Black Chicken Soup

Wash half of black-bone chicken, red dates, sliced ginger, sliced American ginseng

Rinse the red dates and remove the pits for later use, and chop the black-bone chicken into pieces

Add appropriate amount of water to the pot, and open the black-bone chicken under cold water

After the water boils, pick up the scum
5.
Pour the black-bone chicken and soup into the saucepan

Then add ginger slices, American ginseng slices, red dates
7.
Cover and simmer for 2 hours

After the stew is done, use a spoon to skim off the excess oil
9.
Season with salt
