To make Polish starter, put all the starter ingredients into a bowl.

Mix and stir well, cover with plastic wrap and ferment for 3-4 hours at room temperature until the surface foams, and put it in the refrigerator overnight.

After soaking the dried cranberries with rum until soft, cut into small pieces and set aside.

Add the ingredients of the main dough except the butter and the Polish starter into the bucket of the bread machine, select the kneading program for 20 minutes, until the dough is smooth;

Add butter and continue the dough mixing process for 20 minutes.

In the last two minutes, add the dried cranberries and stir until the dried cranberries are wrapped in the dough.

Arrange the dough and put it in a basin.

Put it in the oven and select the fermentation function at 30°C for 1 hour for basic fermentation.

When the dough is about 2.5 times larger, dip your fingers in flour and rub a hole on the surface of the dough. The dough does not collapse and the small hole does not shrink significantly.

Take out the fermented dough and vent the dough into 2 equal parts.

Cover with plastic wrap and relax for 20 minutes.

The cheese is put in a piping bag.

Take a dough and flatten it with your hands.

Squeeze in the cream cheese.

Fold the dough in half, wrap the cream cheese, and pinch tightly.

The oven selects the upper and lower baking mode in advance to preheat at 200°C, and the bread is put into the pure steaming mode for 2 minutes to emit steam.

Then choose back to top and bottom baking mode at 200°C and bake for about 25 minutes. If the oven has no steam function, it can be baked directly.
