Roasted Duck with Lotus Root

Ingredients.

Duck meat has been washed and chopped into pieces.

Slice red and green pepper, slice onion and ginger.

Boil water, add cooking wine, and blanch the duck meat.

Peel the lotus root and cut into pieces.

Heat oil, add ginger and onion until fragrant.

Add the blanched duck pieces.

Add appropriate amount of dark soy sauce and light soy sauce and stir well.

Add lotus root pieces and stir well.

Add proper amount of boiling water, add star anise

Bring to a boil, turn to medium-low heat and simmer for about half an hour, add salt and cook for a while.

Tips:
1. I bought iced duck legs, blanch them and stir-fry them. If it is fresh duck meat, it can be fried directly in the pot.
2. Add boiling water or stock to the fried duck pieces.
3. The ingredients can be adjusted as you like.
