Rock Sugar Tremella and Lotus Seed Soup
1.
Wash the barley, lotus seeds, white lentils, and mung beans and soak them in clean water for two hours (the water should be a little bit more ingredients) in summer, so you can cover them with plastic wrap and put them in the refrigerator.
2.
Bring a pot of water to a boil and then pour the soaked ingredients in and cook while stirring. Use medium-high heat
3.
Use a spoon to gently scoop up the froth, cover the pot, turn to medium heat and cook
4.
After washing the wolfberry several times, soak it in water for a while, pay attention to the plump ones that float up and sink well, don't use them.
5.
Wash the white fungus twice, soak it in warm water in advance, remove the roots, tear them into small pieces, wash the red dates twice, wash them, tear them in half, and remove the date cores.
6.
Pour the rock sugar and red dates into the pot and cook
7.
Cover the pot and cook for ten minutes on medium-low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking of the pot
8.
Taste the ingredients at this time. The mung beans should be cooked and bloom. Pour the medlar and cook for another three minutes. Turn off the heat, cover tightly, and simmer for 5 minutes.
9.
It tastes better after simmering for 5 minutes. I’m going to start drinking it. I like to add more water and sugar. The water is really good. Put it in the refrigerator and ice it even better. My boyfriend also loves it.
Tips:
Note: 1. I didn't core the lotus seeds, because my physique agreed to get angry, and the heart of the lotus seeds can lower the fire, and by the way, lower the fire for myself. Of course, there will be a little bitterness, if you mind, you can put the lotus seed in half and take out the green lotus seed core.
2. The red dates must be removed from the date nucleus. The nucleus must be removed when making soup and making sugar water.
3. After soaking in water, goji berries are good and fresh when they float on the water (the person who sells goji berries told me)
