Rose Glutinous Rice Lotus Root

Put the glutinous rice into the dried rose and soak it in warm water overnight

Wash the lotus root, remove one end and save it for use

Pour glutinous rice into the lotus root with chopsticks

Cover the filled lotus root with toothpicks and lotus root cover

Put the lotus root filled with glutinous rice into an electric pressure cooker, add red dates, lotus seeds, brown sugar, soaked roses, rock sugar, etc. into the pressure cooker, simmer together for one hour

Put the lotus root water into a non-stick pan and add a small amount of corn starch slurry to make rose glutinous rice syrup
7.
Slice the rose glutinous rice and lotus root, pour the sauce on it and eat it hot
Tips:
When soaking glutinous rice, it’s best to put it in an air-conditioned room. The temperature should not be too high. Rock sugar and brown sugar can be adjusted according to your own taste. You can also sprinkle some sweet-scented osmanthus on the finished product.
