Steam pot chicken, a famous dish in Yunnan. As early as the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty, it was spread among the people in southern Yunnan. Adding "Sanqi", Tianma, Cordyceps and other precious medicinal materials for cooking, it becomes "Sanqi" steam pot chicken, Tianma steam pot chicken, Cordyceps steam pot chicken, and is a nourishing famous dish with unique flavor in Yunnan.

Sanqi Steam Pot Chicken

1. Wash the chicken and chop it into small pieces.

2. Prepare a pot of boiling water, add the chicken nuggets, and blanch the water.

3. Cut the green onions into sections, cut the ginger into slices, put them in the blanched chicken pieces, add salt and cooking wine, and marinate for half an hour.

4. Put the marinated chicken nuggets into the steam pot.

5. Add panax notoginseng, red dates, and medlar.

6. Add 600 grams of cold boiled water.

7. Prepare a small pot with a wet towel around the side of the pot to prevent air leakage. Put boiled clean water in it. Put the steam pot on the pot, turn on high heat, boil until steaming, then change to low heat.

8. Slowly simmer for 3 hours until the chicken is mature (to prevent the water from boiling dry, add water to the stainless steel pot).
