The WeChat public account "Baby Nutritional Supplements" contains 500 nutritional supplements I have made for my baby. With these 500 supplementary food recipes, I no longer have to worry about what my baby will eat. Xiaosi's mother will share baby food supplements for 6-24 months in this public account.

As the saying goes, good porridge nourishes people. When every mother cooks porridge for her baby, her heart is soft and warm. The waiting time for the porridge is also smiling, but the porridge is too weak and the nutrition seems like It's not so comprehensive, and it must be the best and most nutritious food for the baby. I think this must be the voice of every mother.

So I mixed all kinds of whole grains together, and then added fresh shrimps and mushrooms together to make the shrimp and mushroom porridge. It is fresh and fragrant, and the nutrition is very balanced and full. The warm porridge that mother loves, the babies will surely fulfill their mother's wish and grow up healthily.

Shrimp and Mushroom Congee

1. Prepare ingredients: 60g rice, 15g brown rice, 8 arctic shrimps, 40g corn kernels, 25g shiitake mushrooms, 25g pleurotus eryngii.

PS: Arctic shrimp can also be replaced by sea shrimp. If your baby has not learned to chew corn kernels, you can omit corn kernels and replace them with green leafy vegetables to prevent your baby from choking.

2. After washing the brown rice, soak it in clean water 4 hours in advance.

PS: Brown rice is a product with only the husk removed from the rice. Because of its rough processing, it retains the original crude fiber and B vitamins of the rice. Compared with refined white rice, brown rice has more vitamins and minerals. However, brown rice has a hard texture and a rough taste. It is not easy to boil. For babies, it is more difficult to chew and digest, so it must be soaked in advance before cooking porridge for babies.

PS: Pleurotus eryngii has an almond aroma and tastes like abalone, so it is called "Pleurotus eryngii". Pleurotus eryngii is rich in nutrients, rich in protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals such as calcium, magnesium, copper, zinc, etc., which can improve the baby's immunity.

6. The Arctic shrimp is shelled and chopped.

PS: Some hemp may worry about whether the Arctic shrimp is fresh. In fact, the Arctic shrimp sold to China is mainly cooked Arctic sweet shrimp. After the lively sweet shrimp are caught, they will be pre-cooked, graded and graded immediately on board. The whole process of freezing and packaging takes less than half an hour, so this fully guarantees the freshness of the shrimp, and it is safe to eat for the baby.

PS: You can also use an electric rice cooker to cook the rice porridge first, and then add other ingredients. I am generally used to adding 8 times the amount of water. The softness of the porridge is just right. You can also adjust it according to your baby's preferences~

Tips:

Coarse grains are rich in nutrients, but for babies with weak digestion and chewing ability, they can be made into rice paste or mixed with beans to make rice paste soy milk.
In the process of making porridge, turn in one direction when stirring, so that the porridge will be crisp and taste good. Bring to a boil over high heat first, then turn to a low heat and simmer for about 30 minutes. With such a heat change, the aroma of the porridge depends on this.
