Shrimp Paste Broccoli
1.
Cut broccoli into sections. It is recommended to make an incision from the root and then break the flowering crown part by hand. If you cut it with a knife, it will cut the corolla and drop a lot of fine pieces.
2.
Wash the broccoli and soak it in water with a small amount of salt for 20 to 30 minutes, mainly to remove pesticide residues (if any).
3.
Boil water in a pot and add a little salt to the cold water. Boil broccoli in water. I usually blanch it for about 3 minutes. The stalks will not be too hard.
4.
Blanch the broccoli in cold water, then drain it for later use.
5.
Put on the pan and add the garlic paste nowadays for cold oil.
6.
Don't wait for the garlic to change color, add the shrimp paste when it is fragrant, and stir-fry together until the shrimp paste is fragrant.
7.
Add the drained broccoli and stir-fry evenly.
8.
During the frying process, the broccoli will release moisture. When the moisture is almost harvested, the broccoli can be cooked. (Don't stir-fry all the time, don't stir the broccoli when the water is released)
9.
Serve and eat.
Tips:
What kind of shrimp paste I bought is not smelly, two bags per pack, easy to use. Shrimp paste is salty, so there is no need to add additional salt, but before cooking, it is best to taste the shrimp paste, and you will know how much to add when you use it.
