Simple But Not Simple Steamed Pork Ribs with Bean Drum

Wash the ribs and prepare the bean drum.

Soak the bean drums in warm water for 5-10 minutes, until the bean drums are softened.

Drain the water from the bean drum and set aside the drained water.

Prepare two single-seed garlic seeds.

Peel the single-seed garlic seeds and cut into small pieces.

Put a little oil in the pot, stir-fry the bean drum to get the fragrance, and then stir-fry the garlic seeds.

Put the stir-fried bean drum garlic seeds into a large bowl with ribs.

Put the bean drum water drained in step 3 in a large bowl, then add two spoons of oyster sauce, two spoons of dark soy sauce, and one spoon of light soy sauce.

Little nagging:
1. Dian Dian The bean drum I used was brought from my hometown by myself, and it was dried. If you buy it wet from the supermarket, you don't need to soak it.
2. The bean drum can be chopped up and sautéed with garlic seeds to fully remove the beany smell.
3. The seasonings in the ribs include oyster sauce, dark soy sauce and light soy sauce, so there is no need to add salt.
4. Use pumpkin as a base. The pumpkin fully absorbs the umami taste of the meat, so the pumpkin is especially delicious.
5. Don't throw away the soup after the ribs are steamed. It tastes terrific when used to make rice.
