Smiley Potato Pancakes
1.
Prepare the required materials
2.
Peel and slice potatoes, put them in a steamer and steam until they are cooked and soft
3.
Use a spoon or a mashing tool to press the potato slices into mashed potatoes
4.
Add a pinch of salt, 1 tablespoon of oil, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
5.
Knead into potato dough (the amount of cornstarch can be added according to the wetness of the potato dough, and the kneaded potato dough is not sticky)
6.
Roll out the potato dough into large original slices, and use a round cup or other round mold to place on the large slices and press into small round slices.
7.
Poke 2 eyes on the round noodles with the bottom of the chopsticks
8.
Then use one end of the spoon to press out the shape of the mouth, and the potato pancake is ready
9.
Pour oil into the pan and heat it up, poke the eyes with chopsticks before deep-frying, put the potato pancakes in the pan and fry them until golden brown. (Because the deep potatoes are already cooked, they can be picked up after they change color. They are easy to fry, so there is no need to worry about unripeness.)
Tips:
Because the mashed potatoes are cooked, they don’t need to be fried for long.
The amount of cornstarch is based on the amount that can be kneaded into a mashed potato dough. You can add a small amount first, and add it to the side to feel it is not sticky.
You can make more of them at once and freeze them, and then fry or fry them when you eat them again.
