Soothing Porridge
1.
Prepare the ingredients you need. It is best for millet to choose the new millet that year. The fresh grains have vigorous vitality, the most nutritious, and the more fragrant porridge. Choose clean and thick jujube.
2.
The first step in cooking porridge is to clean the millet and soak it for 30 minutes. This will help to cook the rice oil and make it more fragrant. Do not clean the millet more than 3 times, otherwise the nutrients in the rice will be lost.
3.
Choose dried jujubes with thick flesh and no bugs, clean them, and soak them for 15 minutes.
4.
The second step is to wait for the water in the pot to boil before adding the millet. After the millet is placed in the pot, stir it quickly to prevent the rice grains from sinking to the bottom.
5.
The third step is to bring to a boil on high heat. First, open the lid and cook for 2 minutes. Stir while cooking. After 2 minutes, close the lid, turn to the lowest heat, and simmer for 20 minutes. This kind of millet porridge is very smooth and fragrant, and you can't stop even drinking 3 large bowls.
6.
During the cooking of the millet porridge, dry the soaked red dates and remove the jujube nucleus. This way, it is safer to eat. You can eat it without worrying that the jujube nucleus will get stuck in your throat. Of course, you can skip the date pits, but you must be careful when you eat them.
7.
Scrape the smaller half of the carrot, clean it, and cut into very small carrots. Cut them as small as you can, and chop them as finely as possible.
8.
In 20 minutes, the millet porridge has become a bit thicker. Put the big red dates with the jujube nucleus removed, stir well, and cook for another 5 minutes. The jujube is soaked, and the jujube core is removed, so it is easy to boil soft.
9.
After 5 minutes, put in the small carrots and cook for another 2 minutes. Carrots are cut into small pieces and are very easy to soften. Just cook for 2 minutes. They are not soft or hard, with a little bit of grain, and have a very good taste.
10.
