Spaghetti with Tomato, Shrimp and Basil
1.
First, boil half a pot of water. After the water boils, add a little salt and olive oil. Then add Spaghetti and cook for 8 minutes. I use Bucatini here, which is a variety of Spaghetti. A long pasta has a very thin gap in the middle, like a straw, which can better absorb the soup. The cooking time of pasta can be adjusted according to personal taste.
2.
While cooking the pasta, we can prepare the soup to be poured over the pasta for a while. I use canned tomatoes directly instead of chopped fresh tomatoes. Because I just turned out the dried tomatoes at home, I will chop three slices and add it to the soup later. Shrimp buys shrimps that have been processed, peeled, threaded, and overwatered. You can also buy fresh shrimp and process them diligently.
3.
Chop tomatoes, garlic, and basil separately and set aside.
4.
Cut the shrimp in half from the back, but don't cut it off so that it can absorb the soup more easily.
5.
Put three tablespoons of olive oil in the pot, then add the chopped garlic and stir fry
6.
Then add chopped tomatoes (canned tomatoes) and stir fry for 3-4 minutes. Add chopped basil and continue to fry for 3 minutes.
7.
At this time the pasta is almost cooked, ready to be out of the pot, drained, and set aside.
8.
In the final stage of the soup, add a little salt according to personal taste. Add the sliced shrimp and stir fry quickly until the two halves of the shrimp are slightly rolled up. At this time, you can turn off the fire. Remember, shrimp should not be cooked for too long, otherwise it will lose its tenderness.
9.
Finally, choose a high-value plate, roll the pasta into a ball, and place it on the plate. Use a spoon to slowly pour the prepared soup over the pasta. Then put the basil leaves under the DIY decoration. In this way, a refreshing romantic dinner is ready.
