Spiced Elm Money Branding
1.
The elm money that my father picked is a bit old, so I have to eat it too, so I can't let him down.
2.
Pick the elm money clean.
3.
Wash it with water repeatedly and control the water until the yuqian is slightly damp.
4.
Add appropriate amount of sticky cornmeal, a little five-spice powder, and sprinkle some salt.
5.
Mix well and let the yuqian stick to the flour evenly.
6.
Steam for seven or eight minutes in a steamer.
7.
The steamed yuqian can be eaten directly, maybe because the sticky cornmeal I used is a little sticky after steaming, I fry it again.
8.
Fill the pan with oil and heat, put in an appropriate amount of steamed elm coins, press flat and thin, and fry on medium to small fire.
9.
Fry one side and turn it over.
10.
Fry both sides. The fried elm money is fragrant and crisp, which can be described as "unintentionally inserting willows into shade".
