Kelp is a treasure house for humans to take in calcium and iron. Supplementing foods rich in calcium and iron can improve the body's ability to keep out the cold. Kelp is rich in iodine. Iodine can promote the secretion of thyroxine, increase the body's heat production capacity, and resist the cold. Kelp is slightly cold in nature and has the advantages of softening and relieving knots, eliminating phlegm and asthma, relieving swelling, removing fat and reducing blood pressure. Eating kelp can lower blood sugar, blood lipids and cholesterol, and can effectively prevent cancer, senile dementia and resist aging. Therefore, people call kelp as "longevity dish"
