Spicy Lotus Root Slices

Cut the lotus root into thin slices, blanch in boiling water for about 3 minutes, drain the water and set aside.

Cut green onion into sections, slice ginger and garlic, prepare pepper, star anise, and dried chili.

Pour an appropriate amount of oil into the pot, add shallots, ginger, garlic, peppercorns and star anise until fragrant.

Add dried chili and bean paste and stir fry evenly.

Add appropriate amount of water to the pot, add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, rice vinegar and Korean hot sauce.

Add lotus root slices and stir fry evenly.
7.
Concentrate the soup.

Sprinkle with chopped green onion and white sesame seeds.
