Spicy Tofu

Clean the cinnamon, bay leaves, star anise, and Chinese pepper. Cut dried chili into sections and slice ginger.

Rinse the tofu and slice it.

Heat oil in a pot, add all the spices in Figure 1 to a low heat and stir until fragrant.

Add a spoonful of bean paste and fry to get the red oil.

Put in clean water.

Add soy sauce.

Add half a spoon of oyster sauce and cook for three minutes to get the flavor of spices.

Adjust the starch with water.
9.
Add the cut tofu and cook for one minute.
10.
Season with a pinch of salt.
11.
Add pepper.
12.
Add chicken essence.
13.
Pour water starch along the side of the pot and gently push it evenly with a spatula.
14.
Finished product.
