Steamed Bitter Gourd with Meat

Wash carrots, onions and shiitake mushrooms and dice

Mix various diced vegetables with ground meat, add salt, five-spice powder, and soy sauce

Whip up strength clockwise

Wash bitter gourd and cut into sections

Scoop bitter gourd seeds with a small spoon

Put the meat into the bitter gourd one by one

Prepare the bitter gourd and put it in a steamer to steam for about 15 minutes until cooked

Mix five spice powder, sesame oil, and soy sauce thoroughly

Heat oil in a pot, pour in the mixed sauce and bring to a boil

Pour the sauce on the steamed bitter gourd
Tips:
For bitter gourd, it is better to choose the ones with correct body, firm, white or light green appearance, and prominent tumors.
