This time I made glutinous rice balls, instead of using water to "boil them", I put the rice balls on a plate and steamed them on a high heat for 10 minutes. The pan was enough to sprinkle some fragrant white sesame seeds. It was simple and fast, but I didn't expect it to be very popular.

Ingredients

Steamed Dumplings

1. Prepare the glutinous rice balls, put the white sesame seeds into the wok and fry them without oil. Mine is cooked sesame seeds and can be eaten directly

2. Put the glutinous rice balls on a plate and put them in a steamer. Don’t stack the glutinous rice balls on top of each other. They will stick together after being steamed.

Tips for food:

If you don’t like sesame seeds, you can also replace them with chopped peanuts, blueberry sauce or osmanthus paste. The steamed glutinous rice balls will have a dry taste and burst pulp, which is more fragrant and more delicious than boiled ones.
