Steamed Dumplings with Colorful Ingots

Put the flour into the basin, gradually add a small amount of boiling water, do not add it all at once, according to the water absorption rate of the flour, use chopsticks to stir into a dough, into a dry powder, not too soft, but moderately hard

Let it cool for a while, put it on the table, if it’s too sticky, add some flour, knead it smoothly, pour 8 grams of oil, and continue kneading

After kneading into a smooth and moisturized dough, put it in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and use it after 30 minutes

Four kinds of dough are ready, from the top left to the bottom right in turn, the original color hot dough, carrot hot dough, dragon fruit peel hot dough, spinach hot dough, please see my corresponding recipe for specific methods

When making 饧面, you can adjust the filling, and the filling can be changed at will

Take an appropriate amount of dough, knead it into a cylindrical shape, then cut into small pieces of the same size, and roll it into a round skin

Take a round crust and put stuffing in the middle

Fold it up and down, squeeze the middle first

Gradually squeeze the two sides, without creases

The two outer corners are overlapped to make the dumplings shaped like ingots, and the two corners are squeezed tightly.

Dumplings of other colors are also wrapped in order

Put it in the steamer, steam for about 15 minutes after the water is boiled, turn off the heat and simmer for one minute before uncovering

Set it out, start eating, walk away!
