Steamed egg is a homemade recipe suitable for all ages. Southerners call it "steamed egg" and northerners call it "egg custard." Many people will steam the egg into a honeycomb shape, or not form it. You can successfully steam delicious water eggs by controlling the amount of water, water temperature, egg-beating skills and heat.

Steamed Egg with Shrimp

1. Add salt, pepper, and cooking wine to the shrimp

2. Stir the eggs well

3. Add 1.5-2 times the amount of warm water to the egg, and stir while adding

4. Strain the egg liquid into a bowl with a spoon and skim the surface foam. (Because there may be some egg whites that are not evenly stirred, the filtering is to make the egg liquid more tender, and the filtering step can also be omitted.)

5. Put it in the pot, cold water or hot water is fine, I use cold water to start steaming. The water turns to the smallest fire right away

6. Open the lid several times in the middle to avoid dripping from the lid on the egg liquid

7. After the egg liquid has solidified, put the shrimp on it. The egg liquid will be steamed for 8-12 minutes to completely solidify. The time depends on the temperature of the warm water in the egg liquid and the thickness of the egg liquid bowl.

8. Add a teaspoon of cooked oil, or sesame oil, add light soy sauce to the water egg
