Steamed Glutinous Rice, Black Rice (can be Used As Sushi Rice)

Take 250g of glutinous rice and 50g of black rice, and soak them in 1000ml and 300ml water for 8-10 hours after washing.

Spread gauze or steamer cloth on the bamboo steamer (you can also use the steamer if you don't have a bamboo steamer), and put the soaked glutinous rice and black rice separately (please discard the water for soaking the rice).

Add 2000ml of water to the steamer and steam for one hour on medium to high heat.

The steamed glutinous rice is crystal clear and chewy.
Tips:
You can add more water to the steamer, and make sure that you don’t dry the pot for one hour. The glutinous rice steamed in this way is grain by grain, not sticking together like boiled.
