The lotus root box, which means "harmony, beauty and beauty", has become a must-have dish for the festive season. It is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, golden in color, and the taste of the wok is still warm after being out of the pan. It is really a delicacy that awakens the taste of food.
Although this dish is good, deep-frying will inevitably dispel the original intention of the lotus root and the greasy meat and increase the three high risks.
We have uniquely replaced it with a healthier cooking technique—steaming, which presents a soft waxy, fresh aroma, refreshing and light unique taste, and the taste level is more varied. "

Steamed Lotus Root Folder

1. Mince the green onion and ginger, dice the shiitake mushrooms and set aside. Peel the lotus root and cut into 3 mm thin slices.

2. Mix the diced mushrooms, minced green onion and ginger to form a filling, add starch and the remaining seasonings and mix well.

3. Take 2 slices of lotus root, spread appropriate amount of starch, put meat filling (about 25g) in the middle, and press it firmly by hand. Put in a perforated steaming tray.

4. Adjust the Fangtai steamer to normal steaming mode, 100℃, and steam for 20 minutes.
