One of the classic Cantonese dishes. Guangdong has used steamers for a long time. The special structure of the steamer can make the water vapor touch the ingredients well during the evaporation process, and the steamed ingredients can still maintain the pure original flavor. The lotus leaf and the steamer are a wonderful match, the fragrance relieves greasiness and relieves heat and dampness. Pork ribs and pumpkin, above the taste buds, is a match made in heaven, that is, the fragrance of the lips and teeth.

Steamed Pork Ribs with Lotus Squash

1. Prepare the steamer, spread the washed lotus leaves on the steamer, and then spread the pumpkin.

2. The ribs are marinated in oyster sauce, ginger, garlic, tempeh, bell pepper, and cornstarch, and then neatly spread on the pumpkin.

3. Add appropriate amount of water to the steamer, put it in the steamer and cook over the water, and then cover the pot after a high heat.

4. After 5 minutes of high heat steaming, use chopsticks to separate the stuck pumpkins and continue steaming for 15 minutes.

5. Serve out and enjoy.

Tips:

In step 3, the amount of clean water is appropriate but sufficient to prevent the water from completely evaporating during the cooking process and causing the bottom of the pot to dry out.
