1. Wash the grass carp cubes and marinate them with appropriate amount of salt, soy sauce and star anise powder. (Pickled the night before and make it at noon the next day.)

2. Wash the cabbage heart appropriately and cut finely.

3. Set aside shredded shiitake mushrooms.
