Sweet and Sour Lotus Root

The lotus root is cleaned, peeled, and sliced.

Clean it, put it in water and scald it, remove it and let it cool for later use.

Peel and slice garlic.

Add a little oil to the frying spoon and heat it on high heat. After about 10 seconds, add garlic slices and stir fry quickly.

Add lotus root slices and stir fry a few times, add sugar and salt to stir fry quickly.

Add a few drops of Maggi Fresh Soy Sauce, stir fry for a few times, turn off the heat and serve.
Tips:
1. Choose lotus root: choose the lotus root with short joints and thick body. The second lotus root from the tip of the lotus root is the best (more suitable for cold dressing).
2. To eat lotus roots, choose the ones with yellow-brown skin and thick and white flesh. If they are black and have peculiar smell, they are not suitable for consumption.
