This dish is made of Chinese style and Western style on my own whim. The taste is partial to Guangdong, Hainan and Shanghai.

Sweet and Spicy Roast Pork Knuckle

1. Purchase fresh pork knuckle from the market (pork knuckle is better)

2. The purchased pork knuckle is depilated and boneless

3. Prepared salt, chicken essence, star anise, cinnamon, bay leaves, shredded onion, carrot juice, ginger slices, thyme, rosemary, cooking wine, meat tenderizer, pour into egg white and marinate for 12 hours.

4. After marinating for 12 hours, put it in a 200° oven and bake for 25 minutes, then turn it over and bake for 20 minutes. Bake until golden and crispy.

5. Slice the roasted pork knuckle and serve on a plate.

6. The cut pork knuckle is served with sweet chili sauce (Thai-style sweet chili sauce tastes good), or you can drizzle the sweet chili sauce on the pork knuckle slices. It all depends on personal preference.

7. Then, a delicious combination of Chinese and Western dishes is finished!

Tips:

Pickling time 12-18 hours is better
