Thick and Sweet Pumpkin Porridge

Put the glutinous rice together and wash it, let it soak in water for 1 hour. Peel the pumpkin and cut into pieces. Add a small amount of water to the pumpkin and smash it.

Put rice, rock sugar, pumpkin puree and pumpkin cubes into the pot, and add plenty of water.

After boiling on high heat, open the lid and turn to medium heat to cook until soft and viscous. Use a long-handled spoon (to prevent hot air and liquid from splashing and scalding your hands) while stirring to prevent sticking to the bottom.

The cooked porridge is soft and sticky, fragrant and slightly sweet. If the amount of water is too little, the porridge will absorb water and dry up after cooling, so a little more water.

Keep it cool in summer, and the sweet porridge is more delicious.
