Tofu itself tastes relatively light, so we can borrow other ingredients or seasonings when cooking to make it more delicious. Today this dish uses fresh soup made from dried sea rice and scallop meat to simmer the tofu. This way The tofu becomes more tender and delicious after it absorbs the umami flavor.

Tofu in Fresh Soup

1. Prepare the ingredients, rinse the dried scallops and dried sea rice, soak in water in advance

2. Cut tofu into pieces, cut ginger and garlic into small pieces, shred green onion leaves

3. Use light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, salt, sugar, pepper, stir well to make a sauce for later use

4. Heat the pan with cold oil, fry the ginger and garlic in the pan to get a fragrance, add the scallops and dried sea rice to the pan in water

5. Add oyster sauce for freshness

6. Add some boiling water and simmer for 15 minutes

7. Add the tofu in a pot and cook for 3 minutes on high heat

8. Add scallions

9. Pour in the sauce and stir well to taste

Tips:

Scallop jerky should be rinsed in advance and soaked in water for about 4 hours.
