Tomato Flat Tip Winter Melon Soup
1.
Peel and remove the seeds of winter melon. Wash and slice. You can peel off more skin to make it softer and tender.
2.
The flat tips (dried bamboo shoots) are soaked in water for half a day in advance to remove the salty taste, and cut into small sections after washing.
3.
Fill the vessel with half the capacity of hot water, put the flat tip into the microwave and heat for 5 minutes. To cook the flat tip taste, you need to cook for a longer time. Add hot water to reheat, which saves energy and time
4.
During heating, take a tomato, mark the bottom with a cross, soak it in boiling water for easy peeling
5.
After peeling, cut into small pieces, put a little oil in a non-stick pan, and stir-fry the tomato slices for about 2 minutes. The stir-fried tomato will be easier to cook out the flavor
6.
Take out the cooked flat tip soup, add winter melon slices and fried tomato slices, add a proper amount of salt, and microwave for 3 minutes. Since the flat tip itself has a salty taste, you don’t need to add too much salt to the soup. Add the right amount of vegetable flavor (MSG) to taste
7.
Take out, sprinkle with chopped green onion, cover and simmer for a few minutes
8.
The braised winter melon slices are softer and more delicious
Tips:
Cover the microwaved soup and simmer for a while, which saves energy and makes it more delicious
