Vegetable and Lean Pork Congee
1.
Wash 1 piece of pork
2.
The washed pork was cut into slices or dices, I just cut it directly
3.

4.
Wash the vegetables and cut into strips for later use
5.
Add a little cornstarch to the diced pork
6.
Add 1 spoonful of soy sauce
7.
Stir and marinate for a while
8.
The time to marinate the pork is ready to wash the rice. Use the standard measuring cup to measure 1.5 cups of rice
9.
Wash the rice several times with clean water
10.
Pour the washed rice into the iron kettle, add the amount of water at the 1.5 mark of the porridge, and add a few drops of sesame oil
11.
Add a pinch of salt
12.
Wipe the outer wall of the pot with a cloth to dry the water and place it in the rice cooker
13.
Pour the marinated pork into the iron kettle
14.
Put the lid on and turn on the power
15.
Select "Cooking Congee" for the cooking function and click the "Start" button
16.
The rice cooker starts to run, and the panel displays "cooking" (the time can also be selected for 1 hour)
17.
10 minutes before the porridge is ready to be cooked, open the lid of the pot, pour in the cut vegetables (at this time, pay attention to the upwelling of heat to avoid being burned), cover the lid and continue cooking
18.
When the electric rice cooker emits a "drip" sound, it means that the porridge has been cooked, and the panel "heat preservation" indicator lights up
19.
Unplug the power and serve in a bowl
Tips:
1. The pork is marinated with a little cornstarch and soy sauce before it is put in the pot, it tastes better
2. The time for cooking the porridge can be set according to the situation, generally one hour is enough
3. Add a little sesame oil to the washed rice to make the cooked porridge taste more smooth
4. Put the vegetables before the porridge is ready to be cooked
