Today I used fried dough sticks and lotus roots to make a vegetarian ribs. Both of the ingredients are left over and cannot be wasted. Cooking this dish is very simple, just a little bit of patience, just a few simple steps to turn the remaining fried dough sticks into "spare ribs" with both god-like shapes. The "meat" tastes very soft and the "bones" are crispy, and the taste surprises me more than the appearance!

Vegetarian Pork Ribs

1. Wash the middle section of the lotus root and cut into small strips 2cm wide and 5cm long for use

2. Take a single fried dough stick and cut into 4cm long pieces for later use

3. Use a chopstick to hollow out the inside of the fried dough stick (the size of the hollowed-out part should be able to insert the lotus root section)

4. Insert the lotus root strips and the vegetarian ribs are complete. They look a lot like this

5. Stir-fry the nest with oil and heat, add the ribs and fry until crispy on both sides

6. Add light soy sauce, sugar, and vinegar to taste, pour in wet starch and go out of the pan, sprinkle with chopped green onion, and sweet and sour ribs

Tips:

The meat tastes very soft, and the bones are crispy, and the taste surprises me more than the appearance!
