Walnut Shortbread

Beat the egg liquid and pour out a little bit for use (brush it on the surface of the cake when baking). Add the powdered sugar and stir evenly, then add vegetable oil in portions and use a whisk until no separated oil can be seen

Pour the flour into the dough and knead it

Walnut kernels are fried in advance, chopped pumpkin seeds and black and white sesame seeds are also fried separately

Baking soda baking powder, walnuts, sesame, pumpkin seeds, pour in and mix the dough evenly

Slowly knead it into a pie with the same thickness and about 0.5cm.

Brush the egg mixture and preheat the oven to 170β.

I added half of the white sugar and half of the brown sugar. The color is darker, so the test is done at 170Β°C for 8 minutes and then turned to 150Β°C for 5 minutes

Tips:
1 Baking powder can be added or not
2 I personally think that the lighter color will look better without the brown sugar, or the color is a bit dark and not beautiful enough when it is baked.
3 I think it can look more whole grain cake without brushing the egg liquid
4 If you donβt put the brown sugar up and down, heat it up and down at 170Β°C and see it for 12 minutes. The specific situation depends on the individual oven and the thickness of the cake.
5 If the egg is bigger, you can add a little more ingredients to the flour, or add peanuts and nuts.
