Winter Sweet Drink-honey Grapefruit Tea

Wash the surface of the grapefruit peel with salt to remove the wax on the surface (forgot to take a picture in this step ðŸ˜)

Take the cleaned grapefruit and use a peeler to scrape off the thin grapefruit skin [It is much easier and faster to scrape off the white flesh with a peeler than with a knife]

Cut the grapefruit peel into thin shreds and soak in salt water, changing the water several times in the middle (I changed the water 3 times and soaked for more than 3 hours, this step is mainly to remove the bitterness in the grapefruit peel)

Put the soaked grapefruit peel into the pot, add water again, add rock sugar, and cook...

Cook until the grapefruit peel is transparent

When the grapefruit skin is transparent, add the grapefruit flesh [I added a third of the grapefruit flesh, but I can actually add more]

After adding the grapefruit pulp, continue to cook on low heat until the soup thickens, turn off the heat and let cool [I used a non-stick pan because I was worried that the bottom of the pan would be stuck]

Mix the cold citron tea with honey, mix well and bottle a homemade healthy tea, and you're done 🙂
